My name is Zuzana Krajča and I believe in my work. I have been enjoying it for more than 15 years. I have worked in various positions in HR, and for many years I have focused on personal development. In my life, I have verified many times that through personal development and working with yourself you can achieve greater satisfaction in life. I try to pass on the same to my clients.

In addition to many development seminars, I have completed two years of training in coaching and intensive training in Nonviolent Communication, facilitation and much more. I started coaching in 2013, and since then, I have met with a variety of clients from those in management positions in the private sector, to those who have a desire to move on, work hard on themselves or remove an obstacle from their life path. I have experience with both professional and personal issues.

I regularly use supervision, either through meetings in larger groups or through consultations and listening to more experienced colleagues.

In my coaching, I mainly use the method of non-violent communication (NVC), which has proven itself to me many times. I mostly work with genuine empathy, but when needed, I will challenge you quite a bit. Thanks to my experience, training and ongoing development, I can adapt to you, and I won't just stick strictly to one method. I emphasize being fully present with you and will not let my ego into our encounters. I will never judge or analyze you.

  • Coaching is a unique way to find a tailored solution for yourself and your situation.

    It helps the client find their solution and the answers they seek through conversation. Through it, many discover their own energy sources and abilities that they can further develop and use. The coach is a guide for the client on their journey to self. The main advantage is that the solution is found by the client and is theirs, which means that it fits them. Outside advice can often feel like a headache pill - temporarily relieving the symptom but not really solving anything.

    Another great advantage of coaching is that it keeps moving towards the goal. The coach's responsible for maintaining that direction and not leaving the client floundering on the sidelines. Unlike some types of therapy, the coach does not analyze (unless that is the client's desire or goal) but seeks a workable solution. How deeply the client goes into himself is up to them.

  • A coach helps to deepen awareness (what I want, what matters to me, what I don't want at all...) and supports me in finding my own resources needed to realize my own goals and objectives.

    The coach does not advise, recommend or approve anything, does not impose anything on the client or direct them anywhere – the coach does not influence the client with their attitude.

    The coach has absolute trust in the client, in their integrity and ability to find solutions.

  • Improving the quality of life. To know one's resources (experience, knowledge, competences, potential...) and learn how to use them. To sort out what is weighing them down in their life, achieve the goals they have set for themselves and much more.

  • Finding the courage to make vital changes and figuring out "HOW" to make those changes and "WHAT" specifically needs to be done.

    Simultaneously strengthen your capacity for self-assessment, self-confidence and self-esteem.

  • I see cases (mostly in companies) where coaching is confused with mentoring or even manipulation. The winged phrase: "So coach him so that he can deliver as I need him to" unfortunately devalues the method in the eyes of many people to a new "smart" coercive management tool. This, of course, belies the very purpose of coaching. A coach must not advise, let alone coerce or manipulate a client. This is completely against the Coaches Code of Ethics (http://www.cako.cz/cs/o-asociaci/eticky-kodex/).

  • Coaching is not therapy. It is not about a deep understanding of behaviour or analysis of the past. I leave it up to the client to find their own ways of dealing with their issues. The topics can be anything - both personal and professional.

  • This is very individual. The usual length is between ten and twelve-hour or ninety-minute sessions. Most of my clients prefer a 14-day interval between appointments. We usually meet for three to six months. However, the length, frequency, and number of sessions are always up to the client and are arranged individually.

  • The outcome of the coaching is the achievement of the client's stated goal (which may change during the coaching). The client knows the possible solutions to problems and knows how to use them. They know their inner resources and can continue to use them. Coaching improves performance and helps to gain perspective and distance. Strengthens self-esteem. It helps to go through a life change.

  • Coaching is not just a fad, it's a really effective way to achieve something. And it's mainly because the client knows where they're going - the coach helps them formulate their goals to make achieving them fun and motivating. The coach helps the client to see things in new contexts and to learn new practices effectively and efficiently. Coaching works in a relationship of trust and respect, thus naturally helping the client find the courage to try doing things differently.

  • I have experience with a variety of clients and topics. Some seek me out with work-related issues, some come in with a personal topic. The depth to which we go always depends on the client, some choose to work with deep experiences and memories, and some choose to address a sub-issue. It’s always important for me to tune in to the client, clarify mutual expectations, and reflect periodically to see if what is happening is helpful.
